PROJECTS BUILT AROUND REAL NEEDS
Melio selectively develops projects where a clearly identified market or infrastructure requirement can be translated into a technically viable and commercially structured opportunity.
We work across borders to bring together local stakeholders, public authorities, technical partners, investors and offtakers, with Melio acting as project originator, coordinator and commercial integrator.
Our approach is pragmatic: establish the need, validate the fundamentals, assemble the right partners, structure the project and create a credible route to implementation.
ORIGINATE
Identify viable opportunities and establish local access.
STRUCTURE
Define the technical, commercial and institutional framework.
CONNECT
Bring together authorities, technology providers, investors and offtakers.
EXECUTE
Coordinate the pathway from development through financing and implementation.

KEEP MUNICIPALITY CLEAN PROJECT
MUNICIPAL ORGANIC WASTE-TO-BIOGAS & CIRCULAR WASTE MANAGEMENT
KMCP – Keep Municipality Clean Project is a Melio-originated initiative being developed to address the growing municipal solid-waste challenge in Sri Lanka through the diversion and controlled treatment of biodegradable waste.
The programme is initially focused on Southern Sri Lanka, where high organic content in municipal waste, tourism-related waste generation and pressure on existing disposal facilities create a strong case for regional organic waste treatment infrastructure.
KMCP is being developed around anaerobic digestion and circular-resource recovery, with the objective of converting biodegradable municipal waste into renewable energy while significantly reducing the volume of organic material disposed of at dumping sites.
